Wish You Were Here was founded by us; two sisters with a shared love of travel, design, and South African creativity.

After our studies, we both spent time travelling and naturally began collecting souvenirs along the way - small, sentimental objects that held memories of places and moments. Some were playful and nostalgic, others more considered, but all of them told a story. That idea became the foundation of the brand: creating wearable souvenirs of Cape Town that we would actually want to buy, keep, and wear ourselves.

Coming from backgrounds in marketing, publishing, and design, we bring a thoughtful, design-led approach to everything we create.

The brand is deeply rooted in Cape Town. Its energy, colour, and rhythm show up not only in the garments, but also in the way we style, photograph, and share them. Every piece is intended to capture a feeling - a moment worth remembering.

All Wish You Were Here pieces are locally designed, sourced, and manufactured in Cape Town, from locally milled materials to garments made by skilled artisans.
